Bought a new camera

I have been saving to buy myself a digital camera since shooting with your cellphone camera is not enough especially when in special occasions. Pay day last July 15, 2008 I had my eye again at the store where I unintentionally passed by and saw my wished digicam. The salesman changed the prized tag from PhP **,*** to less PhP5,000 and because I was planning to buy one and my money is just enough to buy the product with new price tag. I bought it. I am so happy that something tangible was from my work pay. Yeba!

Busy Days

By August 5, 2008, Zaina will be celebrating her First Birthday, that is why I am quite busy these days. I went looking for venue, clowns/magicians, designed the lay out for her tarpulin (above photo), went out looking for guests tokens, and still preparing for the invitations and so with the balloons.

I am halfway done with the preparations. I have now a venue, still doing with my personalized tokens, clown/magician is okay and others still puzzling. Hay, things are a little drowning but sure to finish before our special day.

BIGBY’s Cafe & Restaurant

Melody Anne and I had dinner at Bigby’s Restaurant in SM, Davao City last night. It was fun because before you can actually enter the restaurant and be on your seat, crew overwhelms you with their accomodations and politely gives you their menu and offering you their best sellers.

Two tables away from ours a customer was celebrating its birthday. The crew gave her a warm blessing and a jolly birthday song with a cake and a candle on top of it. We were sort of part of them even as audience.

It tooked us hours hehehe exaggerated rather it tooked us several minutes before we have actually placed our orders. With mine, I had Pork Steak with veggies on the side and it costs me 219 PhP. Real expensive but worth the taste. I Admit to have sinned gluttony, I was full then, but I have to finish my meal. Even Melody Anne was exhausted after finishing hers. As we stand to vacate the place, as if we cannot move due to fullness and were laughing to ourselves.

After then we went to buy some goodies. I bought a box of butterscotch for pasalubong at Goldilocks after paying we left hurriedly. The security guard whistling and saying mam u left the box! hahahhahaha. Hay! silly me. To say, charge it to experience again! Hehehhe

On Bulldozer

This may seem ironic. I am a Civil Engineer by profession but I just realized the types of heavy equipments. Realized in the sense that I was confused on which is the bulldozer, the grader and the dump truck (kidding a little) I can’t help but giggle to laughter on my mistakes. I was not hesitant to tell you this because I am a neophyte not much of the construction of roads and more on the vertical construction. But surely as time and experience counts I will be better. Hehehehe I hope so!

On the picture, I can proudly say that I am on a bulldozer location was at Cateel, Davao Oriental for road construction.
